The OPTympics at SILMO Paris!
A fun and engaging competition, the OPTympics celebrated the intersection of sporting spirit and the fascinating world of optics. Just like athletes pushing their limits, opticians constantly refine their skills with passion, creativity and expertise.
A challenge for opticiansThe OPTympics were designed to test both the practical and theoretical skills of opticians. Participants faced a series of challenges, each focusing on a specific aspect of their profession—from lens evaluation to frame measurement, all the way to assembly. These challenges not only put their technical knowledge to the test, but also created entertaining and interactive moments. Opticians were welcome to take part in the challenges as many times as they wished throughout the show. Each participant registered individually and contributed to a final country ranking—see the results below!
