SWAN – Light Geometry with a Flowing Line

The myfrost model SWAN combines geometric precision with a soft, flowing upper line that gives the frame its elegant and distinctive character. Handcrafted from stainless steel in the frost eyewear manufactory in southern Germany, it offers technical clarity with remarkable lightness.

Its slightly trapezoidal lens shape features defined lower edges balanced by a gently curved upper contour that flows seamlessly across both lenses. The slim bridge, open hinge detail, and flat stainless steel temples emphasize the frame’s refined, architectural design.

SWAN adds structure while maintaining an open, effortless appearance. It is particularly flattering on round, oval, heart-shaped, and more angular faces, where its balanced geometry creates a harmonious expression. Lightweight, stable, and comfortable thanks to adjustable nose pads, the SWAN is designed for women who appreciate understated craftsmanship and timeless design.

More info

Muted tones giving SWAN a calm, understated look without overemphasizing its geometry. The shape itself always retains its technical clarity.

The model features a lens width of 57 mm, a bridge width of 16 mm, and a lens height of 43 mm.

For women who appreciate a clean design language, pay close attention to details, and prefer clean lines, but do not want a pronounced sharpness in their facial expression.

Perfectly for anyone who's looking for a handcrafted frame that expresses poise—one that appears understated yet self-assured. SWAN does not captivate through flashiness, but through a sense of flowing clarity—and that is precisely where its strength lies.

FROST EYEWEAR

THE ART OF SEEING THE WORLD - 30 YEARS OF FROST EYEWEAR

A love story of color, style, and friendship

Once upon a time... No—it’s still happening. And it always will be.

The story of Frost Eyewear isn’t one that’s simply frozen in the past. It’s alive, bold, affectionate—and never ordinary.

It all began in Bühl, a small town with a big vision. Where others cautiously put one foot in front of the other, Marion and Páris Frost jumped headfirst into the adventure, with their hearts and souls. No strategic calculations—just a great love. For each other and for the idea of reimagining eyewear—more emotional, more free, more individual.

Marion, a trained goldsmith with an infallible flair for shapes, colors, and unique details. And Páris Frost, who was not only her life partner but also, from the very beginning, her co-creator and the one who made possibilities happen.

The first pair of glasses was born from a simple desire: to create a pair of glasses for her beloved husband, Páris. The result wasn’t just a design product — it was a statement about eyewear.

“WE KEEP IT SIMPLE.” - THE BEGINNINGS OF TATTO-O-

It was still under the name TATTO-O- that they ventured to their first trade show—OPTICA in Cologne—in 1996. A place that became the starting point of a global journey. While others were working with brochures and standards, Marion and Páris presented bold shapes, surprising colors—and an attitude. The brand was new, but the impact was profound.

WHEN AN EXHIBIT BOOTH BECOMES A HOME — THE WORLD AS A STAGE

From the very beginning, Marion and Páris were present at all major international trade shows. frost eyewear Design was conceived from the start with an international perspective—not as a niche brand, but as the expression of a global lifestyle.

In a world where trends come and go faster and faster, frost eyewear has remained a fixed star in the eyewear sky. One day, the brand name had to be changed:

“TATTO-O-” could not be registered in the United States. But what seemed like a disaster and a loss turned out to be a gift.

frost eyewear—it wasn’t just a name.

It became an identity. Clear and self-assured. Emotional.

DESIGN WITH ATTITUDE—AND HEART

Marion Frost never designed “just glasses.” She shaped souls. Each frame tells a story—loud or quiet, playful or straightforward, but always with character and often with surprising technical details. Production takes place intentionally in the Black Forest with people who are not just employees, but part of the frost family.

SMALL GESTURES, BIG IMPACT

Even before “user experience” was a buzzword—and long before the internet became part of our daily lives—frost eyewear was already printing its own website address on the temples of its glasses. A small idea that had a big impact: it made it easier for customers around the world to access service, information, and stay in touch.

SUSTAINABILITY THAT LOOKS TO THE FUTURE

At frost eyewear, sustainability isn’t limited to recycling or carbon footprints. It begins much earlier with the conscious choice of materials of exceptional quality—materials that are not only beautiful but also sturdy and long-lasting.

“For us, longevity is the most honest form of sustainability.” Páris Frost
