Introducing Foam-Type Lens Cleaners and New Eyewear Case Lines

Targeting Global Markets with 100% Recycled, Biodegradable, and Antimicrobial Fabrics

CMA Global, a Korean manufacturer specializing in microfiber products, will participate in SILMO Paris 2026, the international optical and eyewear trade show taking place from September 25 to 28 at Paris Nord Villepinte, France. At this year’s exhibition, CMA Global will unveil its new foam-type lens cleaner and a range of new eyewear cases for the first time, while presenting eyewear care and customized brand products featuring 100% recycled, biodegradable, and antimicrobial fabrics to global buyers.

SILMO Paris has been one of the major international business platforms for the optical and eyewear industry since 1967. According to the organizer, the 2025 edition brought together 900 companies and 1,500 brands from 42 countries, with 33,688 visitors. Following its participation in the 2024 exhibitor lineup and the official 2025 exhibition floor plan, CMA Global will return this year with a stronger focus on new products, expanding both product innovation and the range of eco-friendly material options to further strengthen its presence in the European market.

A New Foam-Type Lens Cleaner with a Foaming Formula

One of the key new products at this year’s exhibition is CMA Global’s foam-type lens cleaner, which introduces a new format to its existing range of lens-cleaning products centered around sprays and disposable wipes. Designed to be used in foam form, the product focuses on ease of use, portability, and differentiated packaging. Depending on the requirements of eyewear brands, lens companies, distributors, and promotional customers, the product can be customized in terms of capacity, container, label, and packaging.

CMA Global will not only offer the foam-type cleaner as a standalone product but also propose it as part of integrated eyewear care sets combined with microfiber cleaning cloths, eyewear cases, pouches, and other cleaning products. Detailed specifications, including cleaning performance, applicable surfaces, ingredients, and labeling requirements, will be discussed according to customer requirements and the distribution standards of each target market. Final specifications will be established following sample evaluation and quality review.

New Eyewear Case Lines Expanding Design and Usability

At SILMO Paris 2026, CMA Global will also introduce new eyewear case lines featuring an expanded range of shapes, materials, storage methods, and design options. In addition to the fundamental functions of protecting and carrying eyewear, the new cases incorporate options for colors, printing, stitching and finishing, and packaging configurations, allowing eyewear brands and retail channels to create a customer experience that reflects their individual brand identity.

The new case lines can be developed for a variety of applications, including packaging supplied with eyeglasses and sunglasses, retail accessories, and promotional products for campaigns and exhibitions. CMA Global can also provide integrated customized solutions combining cleaning cloths, cases, pouches, and cleaning products under a unified design concept. Specific models, materials, sizes, printing, and packaging specifications can be discussed at the exhibition.

Expanding Material Choices with 100% Recycled, Biodegradable, and Antimicrobial Fabrics

In response to growing global demand for sustainability and hygiene, CMA Global will showcase 100% recycled fabrics, biodegradable fabrics, and antimicrobial fabrics as key material options at this year’s exhibition. Customers can select materials according to the intended use of the product, their brand policies, and the requirements of their target markets, and apply them to cleaning cloths, pouches, and other promotional products.

For eco-friendly products, managing information on raw material composition, supply chains, testing standards, and labeling requirements is as important as the material name itself. CMA Global works with customers to determine product specifications based on available documentation and production conditions for each applicable material. Specific claims regarding recycled content, biodegradability, and antimicrobial performance will be finalized after reviewing the relevant test reports, certification scope, and labeling requirements of the target market.

The Reliability of Korean-Made K-Microfiber

While textile production has increasingly moved overseas in pursuit of cost competitiveness, CMA Global has maintained its manufacturing base in Korea and continued to build expertise and production experience in microfiber products. The company closely connects fabric and material evaluation, product design, cutting, printing, sewing and finishing, filling and packaging, quality control, and mass production, enabling it to manage responsiveness during development, production consistency, and reliable lead times.

According to the company’s publicly available export information, CMA Global produces more than 200 types of microfiber products and exports them to over 100 countries worldwide. With a broad range of customized products manufactured at its Korean production facility, the company transforms global brands’ designs into finished products through high-resolution microfiber printing and detailed finishing processes. Building on these manufacturing capabilities, CMA Global aims to bring K-Microfiber products to the global market, combining functionality, sustainability, and the distinctive design sensibility of Korean manufacturing.

Expanding European Partnerships Through Continued Participation in SILMO

Through its continued participation in SILMO, CMA Global has expanded its network and strengthened connections with European optical retailers, eyewear and lens brands, and distributors. This year, the company will focus on strengthening partnerships with existing buyers while identifying new partners in the fields of eco-friendly eyewear care, new eyewear cases, and customized promotional products. Following the exhibition, CMA Global plans to continue discussions on materials and designs, sample development, quotations, and mass production based on the requirements discussed during the show.

A CMA Global representative said, “At this year’s SILMO, we will showcase new possibilities in eyewear care through our foam-type lens cleaner and new eyewear case lines. With a broad range of materials, including 100% recycled, biodegradable, and antimicrobial fabrics, as well as our Korean manufacturing capabilities, we aim to work together with global customers to develop products that meet their specific needs.”

The representative added, “Through the microfiber technology, design capabilities, and reliable mass-production expertise we have built in Korea, we hope to introduce the value of K-Microfiber to the European market.”
