The Optical Design Contest is intended to be a stepping stone for the next generation, and an opportunity for them to stimulate their creativity through a responsible design approach.

This innovative award acknowledges the importance of the optician in the world of optics and their role in choosing the best products for their customers. The award is presented by the International Opticians Association (IOA), an international body dedicated to the improvement and development of the profession worldwide, in partnership with SILMO.

The SILMO CSR Award recognises optics and eyewear companies for their exemplary commitment to social and environmental responsibility. This award embodies SILMO's ambition to promote sustainable practices within the optical community.
