Participants will demonstrate their expertise through these targeted competitions, reflecting their in-depth understanding and ability in the field of optics.

A fun and engaging competition, the OPTympics celebrate the intersection of sportsmanship and the fascinating world of optics. Like athletes challenging their limits, opticians are constantly honing their skills with passion, creativity and expertise. 

A challenge for opticians

The OPTympics are designed to test the practical and theoretical skills of opticians. Participants will compete in a series of challenges, each focusing on a specific aspect of their profession: from evaluating lenses to measuring frames to fitting them. These challenges will not only put their technical knowledge to the test, but will also provide moments of fun and engagement. Opticians will be able to take part in these challenges as many times as they like during the days of the show. Each participant will be able to register and contribute to a final ranking by country.
